English Version German Version Google Earth Project "Share your Shipspotting Places" for Shipspotter Description With these project based on Google Earth i want to create a platform where shipspotter can exchange their best ship spotting places. There should be additionally information for each place e.g. approach information or specials about the location. I´m looking for shipspotter to take part all over the world. Example
Google Earth File Dowload the actual file. Dateiname 20070212_shipspotting_v_1_3_as.kmz Version from 12.02.2007. Changes see Changelog (see below). You can download older version at the archiv. How can i add my shippspotting place ? There are two options. Option 1: You can add you place directly in *.kmz File, save it local and send it per mail to webmaster@andreaskiel.de. Within two days you can download a new version. Description ? The *.kmz File is under "My Places" in Google Earth. It has a tree structure, you have to go at the filename under "My Places" directory and then right mouse button -> Add -> Placemark. Or Ctrl+Schift+P. The next window opens. Under "Name" please type in an unmistakable name for your shipspotting place. The used names you can find under"Changelog". In the big array you can type in your approach or further information. Please type in your name too. You can write it dirctly into the array ore you use the mastercopy of the text. If you have change something at another placemark please inform me. Download of mastercopy: vorlage.txt Option 2: You can send me the coordinates of Google Earth with deatiled information per Mail to webmaster@andreaskiel.de.
